He posited that the youths is important agent of national development as they play an important role which could not be over emphasized in the process of the nation building.
On youths unemployment, the Ejigbo born politician expressed his disheartening state of mind towards the high rate of unemployment among youths.
“Anytime I see a young Nigerian, what readily comes to my mind is unemployment. According to official statistics 24℅ of Nigerians are unemployed, these numbers are worse for young people.” He said
He maintained that unemployment has lured young minds into illegal businesses ranging from cyber crime, political thuggery, hoarding of hard drugs, prostitution among others.
He however advised the youths to diversify into sectors like agriculture, hospitality, education among others, in a bid to put an end to the issue of unemployment in the state at large.
Dr Aworemi further admonished the youths of the need to be educated in order to break the jinx of unemployment as proper education liberates the mind.
