It will be recalled that the news of Omoworare’s appointment filtered the air last week after inside source revealed his recommendation by the leadership of the Senate to President Muhammadu Buhari.

It was gathered that the 9th Senate leadership led by Ahmad Lawan told President Buhari about Omoworare’s deep loyalty to the party and the sacrifices he made in the last dispensation. The Senate leadership explicitly told the President that they can only work with Omoworare as Senate liaison officer, an opinion Buhari shared with them and decided to use Omoworare.
