A Local Council Development Area in Osun State, Ife East Central LCDA has lost it vice chairman, Hon. Safiriyu Ademola, to the cold hands of death at the early hours of today around 3 am after a brief illness.
This notice of the demise of the politician was contained in a public notice signed by the Assistant Publicity Secretary of All Progressives Congress, Comrade Olaleke Lawrence, a copy which was made available to osun.life.
According to the statement, the remains of late parliamentarian, will be committed to the Allah’s earth today at Modakeke Muslim Burial Ground, Alabameta, familiar road, Modakeke.
However, families and friends have continued to express sadness over the untimely death of the council official across the state.
Leading the pack of those who expressed sadness over the incident was Alhaji Fatai Kolawole, the Permanent Secretary, State Universal Basic Education (SUBEB), who happened to be from the LCDA.
He described the death of Hon. Safiriyu Ademola as a personal loss who he said died at a time his families, the community and the All Progressives Congress needed him most. The SUBEB boss prayed for the departed soul and seek God’s forgiveness of his sins on his.
A former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in the State, Mr. Sikiru Ayedun who also doubled as one of the leaders of All Progressives Congress in Ife Central LG, expressed sadness over the incident. In his words, he said, “I commiserate with the family, Chairman, and the entire APC family over your demise. May Allah give then the fortitude to bear the loss and be with your family. Rest in peace, he concluded.

All the council officials and staff have been directed to attend the burial slated for 4 pm in order to pay their last respect.
