The 15th Aare Onakankafo, Otunba Gani Adams has described the entire Yoruba race as a very wicked one.
Gani Adams disclosed this yesterday in Osogbo, the state capital at a leadership retreat organized by Osun State Chapter of Odua Peoples Congress for its executives across districts, zones and local governments area of the state.
The OPC leader said the race has too many internal saboteurs within the race as a result of their personal interest without recourse to the future of Yoruba nation.
He said until the issue of herdsmen in Yorubaland became unbearable, many of the leaders who do not know how he was living and some of those who have worked against the interest of the OPC in the past were now calling on him to rescue them from the Fulani invasions.
Do they think Aare Onakankafo of today was like that of yesteryears, he queried?
He asserted that it was because they know that he is the leader of OPC that they are now calling on him to intervene on the issue despite several attempts in the past to soil the image of the organisation.
Gani Adams however condemned different moves by political leaders in the country particularly southwest to neutralize OPC because of the fear that the militia group could seek for political power in the future thereby handpicking some of their members at the local government councils as security vigilante without recourse to the leaders of the group.
