Buhari Appoints Omoworare as National Assembly Adviser

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed the immediate past Senator for Osun East Senatorial District, Senator Babajide Omoworare as his National Assembly Adviser who will ensure cordial relationship between the Executive Arm of government and the legislature.

The appointment of Senator Babajide Omoware was confirmed by one of his aides while speaking with osun.life today in a telephone conversation.

By virtue of his appointment, the Ile-Ife born politician will replace Senator Ita Enang from Akwa Ibom State, who according to Presidency sources was dropped as a result of poor performance in the first time of President Muhammadu with many differences between his administration and the legislature.

Senator Christopher Babajide Omoworare was born on 31 October 1968. He was elected Senator for Osun East Senatorial District of Osun State in April 2011 on the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) platform. He was re-elected into the Nigerian Senate on March 28, 2015, under the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC).

Before then, he served at the Lagos State House of Assembly between 1999-2007 where he represented Ifako-Ijaye State Constituency.
