The immediate past Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Honourable Lasun Yusuf, last weekend, donated a Toyota Lexus, Two Toyota Hiace Buses, twelve motorcycles, and twenty hair dryers to his constituents.
Rt. Hon Lasun who represented Irepodun/Orolu/Olorunda/Osogbo federal constituency in the 8th National Assembly, gave those items to three different groups and two individuals who were on courtesy visit to him.
A press release by the media officer to the former deputy speaker, Mr. Oyewole Oladimeji, detailing the event reads;
“It was a courtesy visit of Oba-Ile, Oba-Oke in Olorunda local government area, the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN, Ilobu Chapter, and the Association of Hairdressing Ilobu Chapter”
Oba-Ile and Oba Oke went away with 12 Motor Bikes: Both Oba-Ile and Oke led by the Balogun of Oba Oke visited the former deputy speaker of the house of representatives, H.E. Rt. Hon. Lasun Yussuff Suleiman to thank him for the installation of 500 KVA transformer that he donated and the 200 people that were empowered by the former deputy speaker. While offering prayers and showing appreciation to him by the High Chief, the deputy speaker gave out 12 motorbikes to them to commend their visit”
Christian Association of Nigeria CAN Ilobu Chapter: The Christian Association came purposely on the school built by the former deputy speaker as well to show appreciation and offer him prayers. After they have offered the prayers on his person the deputy speaker handed over to them two Hummer Bomber buses to complement the visit”
Association of Hairdressing Ilobu Chapter: Basically, the visit was to identify with their son who represented them honourably at the Green Chamber for eight years and four years as the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives. After the visit Rt. Hon. Lasun Yussuff Suleiman gave them 20 hair dryers for the love and support they exhibited”
Lastly, one of the childhood friends of the Deputy Speaker who came to pay him a welcome back home visit after four years of quality representation, surprisingly went home with a 350 Toyota Lexus car.
