Osun United describes new FA Boss as a deserved replacement to Ogunjobi

The management of Osun United has described the emergence of Otunba Mustapha Rasaq Ishola, popularly known as Ajiroba Ooni as the new Chairman of the State of Osun Football Association as a round peg in the round hole, considering his profile in the football community in Osun and beyond as well as his activities during the administration of the immediate past board under late Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi.

In a congratulatory message signed by the Vice President of the Club, Mr. Layi Adesiyan on behalf of the President Chief Ademola Adesina and other board members, the management said the victory of Otunba was expected as he possesses administrative attributes to successfully lead Osun football to next level.

“Otunba Mustapha is known to all of us and we believe in his ability having spent over a decade in football management and administration. His emergence as the Osun FA Chairman is not a surprise and we promised to work together with him for the development of the round leather game in the state”, said Mr. Adesiyan.

Osun United management who lauded the peaceful conduct of the election called on the new Chairman, to see the opportunity as a litmus test on his integrity and work as a team with other board members to move the state football association forward.
