The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree has ordered an immediate suspension of the Student Union Government election that is ongoing indefinitely.
The election was suspended as a result of the alleged disruption of the election process by some group of hoodlums.
The suspension notice was published in an internal memorandum signed by Mr. Olayide Lawal on behalf of the school registrar.
The memorandum states, “Following the disruption of the ongoing Students Union Government election, Management has directed that the election should be suspended with immediate effect.”
