A 19 year old boy, Adekanbi Babatunde has been arraigned by the Osun State Police Command before an Osogbo Magistrate Court on a two count charge of felony and robbery.
Adekanbi who was arrested on the 6th of March, 2019 at around 1.45pm by the police for felony and Robbery around Ofatedo Area, Osogbo.
The accused was said to have snatched a Bag and also robbed one Mr. Opasola Temitope.
Items recovered from the accused include an Infinix phone worth N76,000, a Nokia Phone worth N11,000 and the sum of N432,000.
The accused pleaded not guilty before her Lordship, Magistrate M.A. Awodele and stated that he wasn’t arrested on the road as claimed by the police officers but he was arrested at his shop.
After much hearing, Adekanbi was to be remanded in prison till 20th May, 2019 for his bail hearing.
