A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Alhaji Fatai Adesina Kolawole has enjoined Muslims all over the world, particularly in the State to take the fullest opportunity this important month of the Islamic calendar offers Muslim Ummah, just as he charged them to commit to piety, compassion, and brotherliness during and after the holy month.
Kolawole made this known through a press release sent to osun.life to facilitate with Muslims over this year’s Ramadan which is the 9th month of Islamic Calendar.
Kolawole who is also an Education Administrator described Ramadan as a blessed month which God deliberately designed for his believers to tap into, it offers many opportunities and enhances closeness to God while shunning all the worldly sins.
The Osun SUBEB boss urged Muslims to be dutiful to Almighty Allah and show compassion to neighbours, saying those are the core significant lessons of the holy month.
He, however, enjoined Muslims to use this important period to pray for peace in Nigeria, particularly Osun State and the administration of Governor Gboyega Oyetola to overcome once and for all, the seeming hindrances that might want to halt the progress of the State under his leadership.
“Allah spare our lives to this and many more Ramadan on the surface of the earth and give us the ability to carry out good deeds as much as possible in the Month because of the multiple abilities of its virtues and the blessings of Allah”, he concluded.
