The Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Osun West Senatorial District, Engr Adelere Oriolowo has won the Osun West Senatorial District election.
Oriolowo who defeated his two closest rival, Akogun Lere Oyewumi of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), won with a margin of about three thousand votes.
Oriolowo won in Ejigbo, Iwo, Ayedire, Ola Oluwa while Oyewumi won in Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, Isokan and Irewole LGAs. However, it is still unclear as to who won Ayedaade LGA between Adelere Oriolowo of the PDP and Dotun Babayemi of the ADP.
