The Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has been reconstituted by the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa.
Bulkachuwa was said to have taken the decision because of the need to expose the new members to election petition cases since the old members had recently had experience in such cases.
Confirming the re-constitution of the tribunal, the spokesperson for the Court of Appeal, Mrs. Sa’adatu Musa, said it was “an administrative step taken by the President of the Court of Appeal in exercise of her constitutional powers”.
She added, “The new panel will start work soon.
“The earlier panel has not started sitting, so there is not need for anyone to be suspicious.”
