Osun Poll: Adeoti promises to re-open tertiary institutions

The governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in Osun State, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, has promised to re-open tertiary institutions that have been on strike for months.

Adeoti who spoke at the Osogbo mega rally of the party which held at Freedom Park, berated the present government for doing little in attending to the needs of the tertiary institutions. The rally had in attendance, dignitaries and supporters of the party  across the State.

The former SSG asked the electorate to see the experience of his running mate, Prof Adeolu Durotoye as an edge over other parties fielding candidates that lacked wisdom. He added that the professor is a bonus point for the party.

He however promised that his administration would priortise poverty alleviation, foreign direct investment, workers welfare, women and youths empowerment, women involvement in policy making and an improved agricultural sector amongst others.

Lastly, the Deputy Governorship candidate of the Party, Prof. Adeolu Durotoye, advised voters to ensure that they vote correctly during the election, while steering clear of vote buying and selling.
