By Femi Adesola

The Honourable member representing Iwo state constituency at the Osun state house of assembly, Honourable Abdullahi Ibraheem has said he left his former party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), because of the marginalization of the Osun West senatorial district.

Honorable Ibraheem while featuring on a current affair programme ‘ Frank Talk’  on Rave 91.7Fm in Oshogbo on Monday, expressed his disappointment of his former party for ignoring the West for the party’s Governorship candidate.

The Iwo born Lawmaker berated his former party for picking the Governorship candidate from the Central senatorial district, noting that its the turn of the Osun west senatorial district.

In his words he said “I left the party because west was marginalized, its the turn of the Western part of the state to govern the state and we did all we could to ensure what happened after the primaries does not happen, we went as far as deciding at the stakeholders meeting in the west that our delegates should meet the Governor, that we are not even interested in whoever becomes the Governor, but we are interested it comes from the west”

“But all our pleas fell into deaf ear, that’s why  some of us decided that we can’t be a slave in the state where we were all born, we have to move against this dictatorship” Ibraheem added
