Oriolowo receives Baptist Conference award, promises to do more

A Former governorship aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Engr.  Adelere Oriolowo, has been decorated by the Osun Baptist Conference with a Philanthropic Award.

The award was given to the technocrat as part of the commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of the existence of the Conference in Osogbo on Wednesday.

Oriolowo, was said to have been a good servant of God, who had always put the Almighty first in whatever he was doing. It was added that, despite his social status, he gave his total submission to the holy temple.

However, Oriolowo expressed delight over the religious award he was given, saying it could not have come much better.

According to him, “The best award a man can ever receive is that of the religious one. This is worth more than a hundred PhD because the value of academy stops when breathing seizes. There is no denying the fact that I am the happiest man today having been counted worthy of this priceless award.”

Oriolowo added that he would not rest on his hoarse, noting that he was noticed as a result of his contribution towards the course of God almighty and would not allow for complacency.

He said, “I see this even as a challenge to do more towards the course of the empowering people. It is as a result of what I was doing to improve the society that I got noticed. I will not stop the good work and I want to assure you that this is just the beginning.”
