Osun 2018: Abiola Adetipe emerges GDPN Guber Candidate

Abiola Adetipe has been elected as the flagbearer of the Grassroot Development Party of Nigeria ( GDPN) in the upcoming Osun State Governorship election. He won through an affirmative process after the two other aspirants stepped down their ambition to endorse him prior to the primary election of the party.

 

In his acceptance speech, Adetipe thanked the leadership of the Party and all members for giving him the opportunity to become the governorship candidate of the party.

 

He promises that if elected as the governor of the state, his administration would focus on grassroot development, poverty alleviation and provision of adequate security .

 

Also speaking, the South-West Chairman of the party, Mr. Olayiwola Olagunju called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure a level playing ground for all the parties in the upcoming governorship election in Osun State.

 

Speaking at the event, the State Chairman of the Party, Kayode Olowookere said the party is ready to contest and win to deliver the dividend of democracy to the people of Osun State especially at the grassroot.
