A 27-year-old man, Gafaru Rasaki has been arraigned before an Osogbo Magistrate Court sitting in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria, over alleged sexual assault.
The prosecutor, Inspector Elisha Olusegun, told the court that the accused committed the offence on July 11th, 2018, at about 1400hrs at Ido-Osun area, Osogbo.
Rasaki was arraigned on a two count charge bothering on unlawful canal knowledge and indecent assault of one Florence Adeyanju.
He also submitted that the offence contravened section 360 of the criminal Code Cap 34 Vol.11 laws of Osun State of Nigeria, 2002.
However, the Magistrate, F. A Sodamade, ordered that the accused be remanded in Ilesha prison due to the magnitude of the offense committed.
The case was later adjourned to September 5, 2018, for facts to be presented to the court.
