No Document, Equipment Destroyed in Gov’s Office Fire Incident – Osun Govt

By Joseph Akanbi

The Osun State Government has described the fire incident that happened at the Office of the Governor as minor which affected no document or equipment.

The fire incident was as a result of power surge which occurred at one of the Air Conditioners inside the office of the Governor.

In a press release signed by the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Adelani Baderinwa, a copy of which was made available to our medium. He disclosed that not a single document, or equipment was destroyed and that nobody was hurt.

Baderinwa who described the fire incident as minor, said it only affected the Governor’s office and that every document in the governor’s office is intact.

Furthermore, he said it is regrettable that the electricity suppliers have been persistently unable to regulate the supply of power to meet the necessary standard. Many Nigerians have lost their properties to power surges and other electrical malfunctioning.

Lastly, he called on the electricity supplier to save this situation by conforming with the rules and regulations of electricity supply.
