By Femi Adesola

A non government organization that enables people collaborate, track and give feedback on public projects in their communities “trackaNG” has revealed that Osun State received the highest allocation for constituency projects in 2018 budget.

This was made known via their twitter handle @trackaNG with an infographic highlighting the total amount and some selected constituency projects

Osun state which has three senators and nine Federal House of Representatives members got the highest allocation of N4.64b under the 2018 constituency projects..

Some selected constituency projects out of the N4.64bn in Osun state includes N500 million for strategic empowerment for women and youth on Agriculture, N230million for construction and furnishings of a model school in Osun Central Senatorial District and N180 million for the construction and completions of blocks of classrooms with ICT centres at St Michael Anglican Primary school Ilobu.

However, checks by our correspondent revealed that some of the projects have not been implemented. Efforts to get feedback from the representative from Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, Honourable Oluwole Oke, was fruitless as he sounded evasive, he later directed us to the budget office for details of the projects.
