In less than 72hours to the gubernatorial primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the upcoming Osun State Governorship election, members of the State Working Committee of the party, has suspended the Chairman, Prince Gboyega Famodun and State Secretary, Hon. Rasaq Salinsile.
At a press conference at GMT Hotels and Suites, Osogbo, the SWC members complained of marginalization in the decision making processes of the party.
The alleged that the suspended duo were working for the candidacy of one of the aspirants against the principles of equity, fairness and justice.
Present at the event were Eleven out of Seventeen Executive members, twenty five out of the thirty one Local Government Party Chairmen, Youth Leaders and Women Leaders.
However, the plan to suspend the Chairman and Secretary according to inside sources was hatched within the last 48hours, the plan which had the input of several aspirants, was solidified yesterday with funding from key figures within the party.
In what looks like a drama from Nollywood, the Chairman who was suspended while appearing on an OSBC programme, was alleged to be in the dark as to the perfected plans of his co-executives and party faithfuls.
