Black Heritage to honour Oriolowo with Rural Development Award

The Black Heritage Magazine will on Saturday, the 30th of June, 2018, honour Engr. Adelere Oriolowo, with the Nigerian Icon of Agro-Cultural Engineering and Rural Development award.

The event which is billed to hold at the prestigious Airport Hotel, Ikeja, is expected to commence by 3pm.

Oriolowo, a graduate of Agricultural Engineering with over 30years of experience is also a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE).

The award ceremony will also feature other categories and recipients that include Dr. Thomas Wilson Ekubueze, Barrister Biyi Otegbeye, Mr. Paul Adera Adewu.

The Chairman, Advisory Board of the Black Heritage Magazine, Prince Bola Ajibola, a former Judge of the International Court of Justice, Hague, is expected to lead other dignitaries to the event.

Engr. Oriolowo, a Governorship hopeful under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is expected to use the occasion to deliver a keynote address as to the evolution of rural development within the country with key emphasis on his activities as the Project Coordinator of the Rural Access Mobility Project (RAMP) in Osun State.

RAMP, a World Bank and French Development assisted project, has completed hundreds of kilometres of rural roads in Osun State under the leadership of Engr. Oriolowo.
