A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and also the Zonal Secretary of the South West Chapter, Reverend Bunmi Jenyo, has yesterday described a former Senator and 2018 Governorship Aspirant, Senator Iyiola Omisore, as his favourite political leader.
The Party Scribe spoke while answering questions on a radio program “Oro Oselu”, an interview aired and monitored on RAVE 91.7 FM.
Rev Jenyo did not hide his affinity for Senator Omisore when he further stated that if God endorses Otunba Iyiola Omisore as the governor of Osun State, even if everyone is against him, no one can equate himself to God and that he will certainly emerge as the Governor. Referencing Yahaya Bello of Kogi state, who became Governor as another act of God.
When asked about the crisis in the party, he responded that no society or organization even religious organization is immune to crisis at some point but maintained that the crisis will soon be over. He further said he’s not considering leaving the PDP to work for former Governor of the State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola in another party.
Meanwhile, the party Boss also took a swipe at the current administration of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, saying when he took over, most people believed Aregbesola will solve the problems in Osun State, but the reverse is the case as almost everybody is now experiencing hunger and untold hardship.
Lastly, he affirmed with all conviction that his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), will win the upcoming governorship election in the state.
