The Immediate Past Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning in the State of Osun, Dr. Adewale Bolorunduro has paid a sympathy visit to the Gold FM 95.5FM office on Iloko Road in Ilesha over their burnt studios.
The inferno was said to have begun very early on Saturday morning and destroyed equipment worth millions of naira.
Dr. Bolorunduro as one of the early callers today, Sunday, at the station, met with the General Manager, Alabama T.A. Imam and other Staff members and expressed his sincere commiseration. He also inspected the two studios -live and recording as well as the news and programmes directorate which was totally burnt.
He expressed gratitude for the efforts of the men of the State Fire Service and the Fire Service of the International Breweries, Ilesa who came to the rescue in order to forestall further loss.
Lastly, he thanked God that there were no human casualties and also expressed his sincere commiserations with the good people of Ilesha, Osun and the Federal Government over the sad occurrence.
