Technology: Microsoft Partners Kimpact Development Initiative

Microsoft Nigeria in partnership with Kimpact Development Initiative (KDI), Osun will be organizing a workshop for registered NGOs tagged ‘Technology for the Modern NGO’ which will commence on the 11th September 2017 till the 13th of September 2017.

The 1-day immersion workshop will take place at three different venues in three states, Oyo, Osun and Ondo State respectively.

Participants of this workshop will be put through sessions of MyNGO, one of Microsoft Nigeria’s modern technologies to provide answers to challenges NGOs face regarding information protection and safety. They will be learning how they can save data/information without fear of losing it to fire, mishandling or misplacement. The training will also involve various analysis with practical experience that would benefit NGO activities and projects.

Registered NGOs in these three states have been called to register the name of their organization, phone number and city with Kimpact Development Initiative.

About Kimpact Development Initiative (KDI):  KDI is a social enterprise and capacity building initiative set up to equip graduates with commercially useful skills and experience that will enhance their employability and enterprise skills. It is a programme developed with the purpose of mobilising human capital to support the country’s economic growth by reducing unemployment among Nigerian graduates.
