Early results from the Osun West Senatorial District by-election indicates that the All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate, won his unit with 152 votes to 148 votes of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Also, a member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Ayo Omidiran, won his unit with 126 votes to 120 votes of Otunba Ademola Adeleke.
The Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Najeem Salaam, former Chief of Staff under the Olagunsoye Oyinlola administration, Dr. Peter Babalola and a member of the House of Representatives, Hon Mojeed Alabi, won all their units respectively for APC.
