A Leader of the APC in the State of Osun, Hon. Kunle Ayantoye has echoed that the governorship
candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the next year’s election will be determined based
on merit and ability.
This he said in an interview monitored on “THE SPRING”. The Spring is a 5 minutes, 5 questions interview programme produced and streamed weekly to thousands of Osun viewers all over the world.
The former LG Chairman stressing his point said zoning is a PDP agenda and not that of the APC’s. In his words “In APC, we look for merit, we look for intelligence, we look for ability, that is what you have seen in Rauf, that is what you saw in Baba Akande”
On a recent self assessment in which the Governor scored himself A1 in development strides, the APC stalwart agreed with him saying the kind of trend and developmental programmes that has happened in the state under the present administration in the last 27 years is unprecedented.
