UNIOSUN inaugurates anti-corruption committees

Osun State University has inaugurated anti-corruption committees comprising the staff and students of the university.

The committees are: Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit (ACTU) and Students Anti-Corruption Vanguard (SAV). While ACTU comprised of UNIOSUN staff, SAV was put in place for the students of the institution.

The inauguration was held at the university yesterday and conducted by the commissioner of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC) in the state, Mrs Ngozi Nwagwu.

Speaking on the occasion, the Vice Chancellor of UNIOSUN, Professor Labode Popoola, vowed that corruption would no longer have a place in the university and charged staff and students to wage war against corruption.
