The Speaker,State of Osun House of Assembly Rt Hon Najeem F. Salaam is partnering with Rotary Club of Osogbo GRA RI D9125 to provide free medical services for the people of his constituency. The 2-day program is slated for the 23rd and 24th of March 2017. The outlined services include; checking of blood pressure, treatment of mild aliments, sharing of treated mosquito nets, free eye tests, distribution of free eye glasses, etc
Speaking at his residence in Osogbo, the speaker emphasised the need for service to humanity. In his words “service to humanity is the responsibility of everyone your political affiliation notwithstanding. It is vital to go for medical check up at least once in a month but not many people can afford it hence the need for medical assistance. I thank the Rotary Club of Osogbo GRA for the initiative and most importantly for giving me the opportunity to be part of it”.
The medical outreach will take place in three towns; Ejigbo, Ilawo and Oguro on the two days.
