Our attention has been called to a satanic posting in a social media platform, to the effect, that Senator Isiaka Adeleke would ‘DECAMP’ from APC if the ban on aspirants for 2018 governorship race is not lifted. It is to say the least, a wild figment of imagination coming from people of low reputation and idle minds. Such wicked rumour was meant to create unjust misgivings between the elder statesman as Senator Adeleke and his beloved party -The APC and its functionaries. The evil machination was dead on arrival. This was contained in a press release by his special adviser on media and publicity Olumide Lawal.
Senator Isiaka Adeleke is a faithful and loyal member of APC, who remains committed to the ideals and principles of the party in all sense of it. He will never “JUMP THE GUN”; as far as the party directive on 2018 governorship race is concerned, which is to the effect, that all aspirants should continue to work for the success of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola’s administration and wait for the appropriate time for the exercise to begin.
There is therefore no basis for him to have been alleged by some crude social media users, that he was planning to decamp from APC, if the ban on aspirants was not lifted. Senator Isiaka Adeleke is totally committed to Osun State chapter of APC directives on 2018 governorship race and will continue to abide with it, knowing fully well, that in no distance a future, guidelines will be issued on the governorship race and all aspirants shall be in position and free to avail themselves of the opportunity.
Senator Isiaka Adeleke bonds very well with APC and will continue to promote everything, that will ensure its robust growth at all levels. The Senator is unruffed nor perturbed by the antics of political deadwoods and mischief makers, whose stock-in-trade is to create imaginary enmity, discord and dis-harmony among loyal APC members. They will continue to fail. Ordinarily, Senator Isiaka Adeleke would not have joined issues with political spent-force and unserious-minded and paperweight politicians, but the record should be set straight, that the distinguished Senator is an avowed member of APC, who on Sunday March 26, 2017 will host a large gathering of people of the Osun West Senatorial District at its monthly meeting in Ede. The social medial platform, Senator Isiaka Adeleke advised, should be positively used and not turned into an avenue for character assassination, which was not the objective of the geniuses, that founded the various platforms.
