Manufacturing, our only way out of our Recession – Artdeco Boss

The Chief Executive Officer of Artdeco Interior and Furniture Limited, Arc Ayodeji Ogedengbe, has described manufacturing as the only way out if Nigeria is to come out of its present recession crisis.

He spoke while delivering his welcome address at the opening of the company’s ultramodern factory in Osogbo.  “Our penchant for foreign and imported goods has affected our economy so bad, it is difficult for a nation to prosper if they keep consuming at this rate” he said.

The opening ceremony which had distinguished guests in attendance include the Former Governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Najeem Salam, the former Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Adejare Bello, the former Secretary to the State Government and Chairman Owu Crown Hotel Ibadan, Engr Fatai Akinbade, the Vice Chancellor of the Osun State University, Prof Popoola, among others.

Speaking at the event, Prince Oyinlola, encouraged everyone to patronize the products of Artdeco and support the nationwide campaign of buying Nigerian made goods as a way of growing the Nigerian economy.
