2,000 people benefit from Omoworare’s outreach

An estimated 2,000 people benefited from the free medical outreach programme organised by the Senator representing Osun East Senatorial District, Babajide Omoworare at the weekend.

Omoworare said the outreach was designed to provide health care delivery to his constituents and promote good living among his people, especially those unable to pay hospital bills.

“It is a continuous intervention. We are not just starting it, we have been doing it in the past and we will continue to do it. The essence of this programme is to ensure that our people live healthy life despite the fact that there is paucity of funds in the society.

“The federal and state government are trying their best, but it is not absolutely possible for them, to give entirely free medical services required by the populace and that why I decided to do this to complement the state government.

“We all know that there is recession in the country and I’m just doing this little to let our people get good health care. We shall do our best in this area of medical intervention for our people.
