The Irepodun community at Oke-Osun under Osogbo local government area of Osun State has urged the state government to provide socio-amenity in the area.
The new Baale (village head) of Irepodun, Chief Abdul-Wahab Adegboyega Oladunjoye made the appeal shortly after his installation as Baale at the market square in the community.
Oladunjoye urged the state government to assist the community in the provision of health care facilities, grading of its road and deployment of more teachers to the school in Irepodun.
Speaking on the installation of Oladunjoye, the chairman of Irepodun community, Pa Sulaimon Akande and one of the community leaders, Pa Liasu Omidiran said the new Baale was acceptable to the entire people of the community.
Omidiran explained that the nomination, selection, appointment and installation of Oladunjoye followed the due process and that the processes fulfilled all the necessary conditions in accordance with the tradition and custom of the people of Irepodun community.
