osun.life News | Osun Police recovers 14bags of Indian hemp

The Osun State Police Command has apprehended an Indian hemp merchant in Ile-Ife. The Commissioner of Police, Osun State, Mr. Fimihan Adeoye, made this known at the Command Headquarters in Osogbo, Osun State.

He said on 10th December 2016, the police detectives from the Area command Office in Ile Ife raided a house along Ajiku street, Ondo road, Ile-Ife based on an credible information.

He said “the miscreants are dealing on weeds suspected to be Indian hemp, and our officers were able to arrest a suspect Identified as Olutayo Ifaseyi aged 49yrs while others namely Dayo and Owolabi fled from the scene”

” Upon the search warrant executed by the team, 14bags of dried weeds suspected to be Indian hemp were recovered”

Famihan said effort to arrest others at large are on going and assured the people of Osun-State of adequate Security in the state.
