Deputy speaker house of representatives Rt Hon Lasun Sulaimon Yussuff has commiserated with the family of Oladepo, Osun state, the National Youth Service Corps and indeed the nation over the unfortunate death of a very brilliant member of the corps Ifedolapo Amoke Oladepo at the camp in Kano, Kano State.
He also commiserated with the family of Ukeme Monday, a corps member who was also reported to have died at the Zamfara NYSC camp due to an unclosed ailment .
Rt Hon Yussuff who is deeply touched over the loss, prayed the almighty God to grant repose to the gentle soul of Ifedolapo and grant the bereaved parents, family and the nation the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
It is unfortunate that such a brilliant and promising young lady and a young boy who had struggled very hard to attain such enviable goal in life would just die at the prime of their age.
On behalf of the House, Deputy Speaker uses this medium to commiserate with the family of the deceased and pray that God in His infinite mercy would give the family of the deceased the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
He assured that National Assembly would do everything within it’s power to unravel the circumstances that led to the death of the corps members.
He however, admonished people at the vanguard of the profession of saving life to treat every situation with the sanctity and seriousness it deserve.
