The rector of Osun state polytechnic, Iree, Dr. Olusola Agboola has thanked the governor of the state of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, for helping the institution attain its present enviable stage. He made this known while delivering his speech at the fifth joint convocation of Osun state polytechnic, Iree, yesterday.
Agboola who expressed his deep appreciation to the Aregbesola led administration in the state on behalf of the entire management, said the state government has always been there for the institution and this has been the secret behind the success of the school. He said; “Osun state polytechnic, Iree is successful because the state government is highly sensitive.” He said; “Osun state polytechnic, Iree is successful because the state government is highly sensitive.”
The governor who was represented by the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Grace Titilayo Laoye Tomori congratulated the school on the convocation celebration while she enjoined the successful students to be good ambassadors of their various homes, the institution, Osun state and Nigeria at large.
The governor however, expressed the state’s commitment to giving qualitative education to everyone in the state which has made the government to embark on several educational policies which has started yielding positive results in the state educational sector at all level.
