Train your children morally, spiritually, Osun Speaker urges parents

The Muslim Ummah has been charged with the task of strengthening the deen by raising their children inline with the tenets of the faith.

The charge was given by the Speaker Osun Statehouse of Assembly Honorable Najeemdeen Abdulsalam, at the inauguration of NASFAT Ejigbo branch, Osun State recently.

According to Abdulsalam, Islam is a way of life and it is one faith that prepares induviduals for life irrespective of the challenges.

In his goodwill message, he congratulated the society, particularly the new branch, urging members to show uprightness and absolute commitment to the course of Allah.

Earlier in his speech at the event, the President of NASFAT, Engr. Kamil Yomi Bolarinwa told the newly sworn-in Executives of the branch to discharge the enormous responsibility of maintaining a healthy branch, while reminding them of the abundant blessings of Allah for those who serve Allah diligently and honestly.

The President who was represented by the  Assistant General Secretary of the society, Brother Badmus Olayinka also warned the newly sworn in Executives against any act of indiscipline and financial impropriety which may tarnish the image of the society.

The event was attended by the Chief Imam of Ejigbo  Land Sheikh Sulaimon Omotokese, the National Publicity Secretary Alhaji Banji Busari.

The Osun Zonal Chairman of NASFAT, Alhaji Sefiu Adewunmi, the Chaiman Council of Elders Alhaji Abdulganiyu Oyinlola, The Zonal Missioner Dr. K.K Oloso, and a host of prominent sons and daughters of  Ejigbo.
