A student of the Department of Civil Engineering, Osun State University, Osogbo, Adeyemo Kazeem Adekunle has received the 2016 Council for the Regulation of Engineering’s (COREN) award for the overall best student in Engineering in state-owned universities in Nigeria.
The Chairman of Committee of Deans of Engineering and Technology of Nigerian Universities (CODET), Professor Emmanuel Ajav, announced Adeyemo of Osun State University as the winner of the award and lauded UNIOSUN for the outstanding achievement.
The award was presented to Adeyemo at the 25th edition of COREN Assembly held in Akure, Ondo State.
The acting Vice Chancellor of Osun State University, Professor Oguntola Jelil Alamu, expressed delight and assured that the university would not rest on its oars.
